Outcome bias This is the inclination to judge a decision by its eventual outcome, instead of basing it on the quality of the decision at the time it was made. It is also referred to as: "the beauty of hindsight". A manipulator can heap information onto a victim about what happened after the event so as to alter the perception of a decision, even though that information was not available at the time the decision was made. He may say, for example, "Well, of course, we expected that to happen when we made the decision."
