Spacing effect (Lag effect) This is when information is better remembered when exposure to it is repeated over a longer period of time. This is another pillar of the advertising industry and the propagandist. They use this effect to deliver strong manipulative payloads over long time periods. The opposite is also true: messages delivered to the victim in a short period are much less memorable. So anything that needs to be said but forgotten should not be repeated.
