# Solutions The [Problems](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/problems/) section of our website takes you to many of the "[Great Problems in Philosophy and Physics](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/books/problems/)" we have researched over the past sixty years. In this new Solutions section, launched in Spring 2020, we summarize the most plausible information-based solutions to several great problems in philosophy and the sciences. Problems in Cosmology [The Cosmic Creation Process](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/introduction/creation/) [Thermodynamics](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/thermodynamics/) Problems in Quantum Mechanics [The Two-Slit Experiment](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/quantum/two-slit/) [Entanglement](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/quantum/entanglement/) Problems in Philosophy [The Problem of Free Will](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/freedom/two-stage_models.html) [The Mind-Body Problem](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/problems/mind_body/) Problems in Metaphysics _Dis-Solving_ Some "Pseudo-Problems" [Time Asymmetry](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/problems/arrow_of_time/) Old Solutions Sections In earlier versions of the I-Phi website, there were separate drop-down menus for the sections on [Problems](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/problems/) and [Solutions](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/). The Problems menu has been restored and updated. Both sections are now links in the [Introduction](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/introduction/) drop-down menu. The original Solutions section was a motley collection of philosophical ideas we hoped to work on, nothing like our proposed information-based solutions to the great problems of philosophy and the sciences, which we are now developing. Here are links to the old sub-sections of Solutions: [Demons](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/demons/) [Determinisms](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/determinisms/) [Dogmas](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/dogmas/) [Dualisms](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/dualisms/) [Experiments](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/experiments/) [Language](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/language/) [Progress](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/progress/) [Reason](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/reason/) [Theories](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/theories/) [Triads](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/triads/) [Truth](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/triads/) The original Solutions section had separate entries for the major philosophers and scientists who have contributed to the three classic philosophical problems, [knowledge](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/knowledge/), [value](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/value/), and [freedom](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/freedom/) of the will, for which we hope to reconcile science and philosophy. [Philosophers](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/philosophers/) and [Scientists](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/scientists/) are now entries in the Introduction drop-down menu, as well as having individual links for each thinker in the left navigation on every I-Phi page. [Experiments](https://www.informationphilosopher.com/solutions/experiments/) is now also located in the Introduction menu.
